Thanks for visiting my website. I have announced I’m running for the Senate in District 2 and am getting a tremendous amount of positive responses.

Idahoans are currently experiencing some stressful and divisive times and we are all struggling for answers to the burdens of government we often feel is not working for us, but against us. Let’s look for solutions and not blame.

We’re a conservative state so lively political discourse is the norm but I see a trend I find disturbing and I know many of you do as well. We all hate acrimony and we know the need to reach out to others, whether across the aisle or on the same side. What I’ve observed developing is a lack of communication and collaboration within the Republican party and this is not good for us and it’s not going to get the state moving in the direction necessary to make sound decisions in difficult social and economic times.

You can read my bio and see what I’ve done. You can look to the legislation I sponsored and have gotten passed. I can be tenacious when I see the need for progress, whether it concerns individuals or the state of Idaho as a whole. I can be independent but I see that as a very positive strength in this time. I do not owe my allegiance to a small interest group with a narrow world-view, I owe my allegiance to the great state of Idaho and her equally great citizens.
