| Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Thank you for visiting my website! I am proud to ask for your vote once again in the upcoming primary election of May 25, 2010.
I have been honored to serve our community and I hope, with your support, to continue doing so for the next two years.
These are critical times for our state and country. I believe we need more of the solid, conservative values I support in the Legislature and that now is no time to take chances. In Idaho we have yet again successfully balanced our budget without deficit spending and without raising taxes.
It is critical for our state to live within the budget of the people and not have the people fit the size of government. This is an important distinction.
In order to balance the budget we have cut wasteful or un-necessary spending and made government more efficient.
In fact, we have reduced the size of government by nearly 20% in just two years. Washington, Oregon and California have all raised taxes during this economic downturn but Idaho has not.
My next efforts in the Legislature will be to continue to fight against illegal immigration and the $200 million it costs Idaho’s taxpayers every year. But I will also focus my efforts at creating JOBS through the new, Idaho Legislature Business Caucus; the first cross-body group consisting of successful private sector businessmen. I am proud to be a founding member of this organization and I believe we WILL be able to help small businesses and industries to thrive in Idaho through these efforts.
I am proud to have helped play a key-role in right-sizing our state government, with your help I will be re-elected and will be able to now focus on creating new jobs in a better business environment. I humbly ask for your vote.
Please consider helping my campaign with a donation or by placing a yard sign on your property. If you are interested, please click on the “Contribute” tab, above and to the right.
Sincerely yours,
